This home belongs to Katie Tarses, a full-time mom and part-time actress who lives in a 1931 Spanish style house in the Hollywood Hills with her husband and three children. She enlisted help from her designer friend, Pamela Shamshiri from Commune Design to help decorate her home. Using a combination of mid-century sleekness and bohemian touches, her home looks eclectic, colorful and casual.
Bright, open and airy with a variety of growing plants and pattern-happy rugs that were carefully sewn together, the glass ceiling solarium is definitely the star in this fabulous home and obviously, my favorite room as well. Are you a fan of solarium too? Which room do you like most?
